"Seek His Presence Continually" 3-15-07

Good morning, Lord Jesus. Holy, holy, holy, Lord -- God of power and might, heaven and earth are filled with Your glory. As You fill heaven and earth, come fill my heart with Your glory this day. ... "Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His presence continually" (1 Chronicles 16:10-11). Free me, Lord, from every compartmentalization of my life. Don't let my spiritual life be detached from the rest of my life. Teach me to seek Your presence continually -- throughout the moments of my day. Help me be constantly conscious of Your abiding presence, doing only the things I would do in Your physical presence and becoming the person whose heart and soul are always welcoming Your spiritual presence. Here, I find my strength; here I glory in Your holy name; here I rejoice that You are with me and, by Your Holy Spirit, You are within me. "Christ in me, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27).
