Holy Holes in the Hands of God 4-6-10

Good morning, Lord Jesus. Holy and mighty, Risen One, help me rise and follow You today. … “When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you.’ After He said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord!” (John 20:19-20) One encounter with You can turn our fear into joy. One word of peace from Your lips can steady any storm or calm any heart. And all the walls in the world we try to hide behind to lock out our fears can never lock out Your love. When You come and stand among us in the power of Your love and the glory of Your Presence, all fear must flee. “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear…. We love because (You) first loved us” (1 John 4:18-19). The holes in Your hands and side perfectly reveal Your perfect love for us. And those marks will never go away. For all eternity, the Son of God who also humbled Himself as the Son of Man to be nailed to a cross will forever bear these marks of Your love. And as we remember these holy holes in Your holy hands, let us rejoice and be glad for such amazing love You have forever shown for each one of us. Let us forever praise Your name that no walls or fear or anything else will ever be able to separate us from this power of Your love (Romans 8:37-39). “But God proves His love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us” (Romans 4:8). This is the holy love forever revealed in the holy holes of God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen. Be encouraged today! In the Love of Jesus, Tommy Hays Friends, God bless you as you live out love and mercy we have in the resurrection power of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is risen indeed!
