Morning by Morning, October 23, 2025 – “One” in the Spirit, “One” in the Lord Good morning, Lord Jesus. Your Word says, “Anyone united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him” (1 Corinthians 6:17). So in this communion of prayer, watching and waiting for Your leading to begin my day grounded in Your Word and filled with Your Spirit, You’re uniting me with You and making me “one spirit” with You — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God. ... As I watch and wait, this Word comes to mind: “Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist” (1 Corinthians 8:6). By the grace of God, I have no other gods before You. You alone are God. You alone are Lord. You alone are the One for whom I exist. In You alone, I “live and move and have (my) being” as a child of God and disciple of Christ (Acts 17:28). All idols fall down. All false gods be displaced. Every spirit but Your Holy Spirit be cast off from every area of my life, as I draw near to You and You draw near to me, as I humble myself in Your sight and You lift me up (James 4:6-10). “There is one body and one Spirit, just as (we) were called in one hope of (our) calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in (us) all” (Ephesians 4:4-6). So now I rise from my prayer chair, one in the Spirit and one in the Lord, to go about my day with You in my heart, with You in my thoughts, with You in my words and actions, my hopes and desires, in all that I am and everywhere I go. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today. Morning by Morning, October 22, 2025 – “Everlasting Dominion” of The Kingdom of God Within Us Good morning, Lord Jesus. King of Kings and Lord of Lords, come rule and reign in my heart and every moment of my day (Revelation 19:16). … “I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came One like a Son of Man, and He came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. And to Him was given dominion and glory and a Kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him; His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom one that shall not be destroyed” (Daniel 7:13-14). Your Kingdom “shall not pass away.” Your Kingdom is “an everlasting Dominion.” And at the same time, You said Your Kingdom is “within (us)”–within every heart to receives You and surrenders to You and embraces You as King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Luke 17:21). And Your Word says Your Kingdom is “righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17). So come establish Your Kingdom, Your everlasting Dominion, in me by Your Holy Spirit moving in me, forming in me, developing in me Your “righteousness” and Your “peace” and Your “joy.” More of Your nature in the Spirit; less of my nature in the flesh. More of Your ruling and reigning in Your will; less of me ruling and reigning in my will. “Not my will but Your will be done” (Luke 22:42). May this not be just a one-time prayer. Not just a morning by morning prayer or day by day prayer. But a moment by moment prayer from a heart fully and forever surrendered to You, declaring, “Lord Jesus, You have Everlasting Dominion in me and Your Kingdom shall not pass away.” In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today. Morning by Morning, October 21, 2025 – “Seek First” Good morning, Lord Jesus. I look to You and listen for Your Spirit — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God. ... “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). First thing in the morning, I seek You first. I look to You. I wait for You. I listen for You. First things first. And You are first. You and Your kingdom and Your righteousness. You are the King of the Kingdom of God. You are the One who sets things right with You, right within me, and right with my relationships with others in the righteousness of the Kingdom of God. Then, as I seek You first, as I put You first, You add all these things to me. You add to me peace and love and joy. You add to me protection and provision. You add to me favor and blessing and honor. You add to me open doors and opportunities. You add to me what I need and when I need it to live out the Kingdom of God in my heart and through my life. For “the Kingdom of God is within (me)” (Luke 17:21). “For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17). So come, Holy Spirit. Keep lifting my eyes and my heart to the King of the Kingdom of God, putting my King first — first in my morning, first in my life, first in all things. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today. Morning by Morning, October 20,2025 – Yes, We Have a King and His Name is Jesus! Good morning, Lord Jesus. In these first moments of my morning, I’m leaning in to listen for Your leading (John 10:27). ... We’ve been hearing a lot about “No Kings” these past few days. But it just reminds me that we do have a King. And His name is Jesus! “King of Kings and Lord of Lords!” (Revelation 19:16) And One day soon our eyes will see the Glory of the coming of the King! “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:11-16). Come, Lord Jesus! Come rule and reign in my world. Come rule and reign in my heart. “And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ (Revelation 22:17) Lord Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, my King and my Lord, I close my prayer this morning with the closing prayer and proclamation in the closing Words of the closing Book of the Bible: “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I AM coming soon.’ “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (Revelation 22:20-21). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today.
