Morning by Morning, November 11, 2025 — “Come, Follow Me.”   Good morning, Lord Jesus. I lift up my heart and listen up for Your voice, for Your sheep hear Your voice and know You and follow You (John 10:3). “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God” (Romans 8:14). ...   As I wait in the stillness of these first moments of my morning to listen for Your Spirit, what comes to my spirit are these words in my heart:   “Come, follow Me. Rise up in your heart and come, follow Me. I take you by Your heart and lead you by My hand to where I want you to be. And where I want you to be is right here with Me. For I have gone and prepared a place for You and for all who would come, follow Me. That Place is Me. For wherever You go, whatever you will do, all that you are and all you will be is right here with Me. But it must be your desire to come, it must be your choice to come, it must be the determination of your heart to come, follow Me.” ...   Yes, Lord. As I ponder in my heart what I believe I’m hearing by Your Spirit, these Words of Your Scripture come to mind:   “‘Come, follow Me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will send you out to fish for people’” (Matthew 4:19 NIV). “I will make you fishers of men” (KJV).   “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (Matthew 16:24 NKJV).   To “Come, follow (You),” requires both spiritual intimacy and physical obedience. To “Come, follow (You),” requires a denial of ourselves in the sense of denying everything in us that would resist following You, that would resist drawing near to You, that would resist obeying You. And a significant part of obeying You from that place of intimacy with You is fulfilling our unique calling and commission, the day-by-day direction that You speak into our spirits, as You take us by the heart and lead us by Your hand into all You have us to be and all You have us to do, all by the power of Your grace at work within us (Philippians 2:13).   In Your days in the flesh, as You walked with Your first disciples on this earth, You spoke of a place Your prepare for us:   “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know” (John 14:1-4).   That “place” You “prepare” for us is not just going to Heaven when we die. It’s not just being caught up in the air on the day You return to come again in the clouds in glory. It’s also where You are that we may be also. It’s also the “place” You “prepare” in our hearts—right here, right now—as we draw near to You and You draw near to us (James 4:8). It’s also abiding in You as You abide in us, every moment of every day (John 15:4). As we “Come, follow (You).”   Lord, I desire and I choose to “Come, follow (You)” today—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God. As best as I can and all by Your grace, may I live out the moments of this day following the day-to-day direction of Your leading in my spirit in both spiritual intimacy and physical obedience. This day and every day. Morning by Morning, moment by moment. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today. Morning by Morning, November 10, 2025 - “I Lift Up My Eyes to the Hills”—to the Source of All I Am and All I Do   Good morning, Lord Jesus. As I seek Your face—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—I seek to begin my day grounded in Your Word and filled with Your Spirit. ...   “I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. 6 The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore” (Psalm 121:1-8).   When I lift up my eyes to the hills, I’m lifting up my heart to You. When I lift up my heart to You, I’m acknowledging You as the Source of my help, acknowledging You as the Source of all I am and all I do. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning” (James 1:17).   You’re the Source of all I need, all I desire, all You’ve created me to be and all You’ve called me to do. You’re my “keeper,” my “shade,” my protector who “preserves” me through all my goings and comings, through whatever I persevere to overcome on my spiritual journey of You making me more like You each day, of You conforming me into Your image, as a son of God and disciple of Jesus Christ. Not just today. Not just right now. But “From this time forth, and even forevermore.”   So as best as I can and all by Your grace, I lift up my heart to You, I offer up my life to You, I offer up this day to You. “From this time forth, and even forevermore.” In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today. Morning by Morning, November 7, 2025 – “Write the Vision”   Good morning, Lord Jesus. As I awaken in my world, may Your Spirit awaken in me. ...   “I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected.   “Then the Lord answered me and said:   “‘Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it’ (Habakkuk 2:1-2).   You’ve called me away to the mountains of Colorado to a tucked-away cabin of some generous, anonymous friends, carving out time in my schedule to “stand my watch,” to “watch to see what (You) will say to me.” Let me discern Your words, Your vision, expressed with Your heart in these books, that I may “make it plain” for those who read them to catch the Fire, to run with Your words and Your vision, for this revival and awakening of our times.   You’re giving me the gift of time to listen and write, putting to words some of the revelation and understanding You’ve been giving me to share for the equipping and encouraging, the teaching and training, the inspiring and empowering of the Body and the Bride of Christ, the Army of the Lord, the sons and daughters of God, the disciples of Jesus Christ, the remnant who are willing to be wholly surrendered to You and fully alive for You, committing their lives as living sacrifices to You, for our times, for our battles, for our destiny, that You may display Your glory through Your people, that “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea!” (Habakkuk 2:14).   Let me not squander a moment of Your gift. Let Your words and Your Spirit flow into me and flow through me. In the ways Your encouraged me and comforted me and redeemed me, may You do the same through me (2 Corinthians 1:4). Freely I’ve received, and freely I give (Matthew 10:8). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today.
