Morning by Morning, October 29, 2025 – “Being Transformed” into the “Image” of the Son of God “from Glory to Glory”   Good morning, Lord Jesus. I fix my gaze and direct my focus to You. ...   “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18).   “With unveiled face.” Unveil my face as I behold You, Lord. Unveil my heart as I draw near to you in worship and prayer, in surrender and trust. Reveal and remove every barrier and blockage that would hinder me from seeing You as You are and seeing myself as You see me. Replace all of that with all of You in Your abiding Presence, uncompromising Truth, and abounding Love.   “Beholding.” Stir in my heart to lift up my face to behold Your face. Heart to Heart, face to Face, spirit to Spirit. “Deep calls unto Deep” (Psalm 42:7). As I draw near to You, You draw near to me (James 4:8).   “Being transformed.” Keep transforming me, changing me, making me more like You as I seek You, behold You, and embrace You. As Your Word invites me, “Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always” (1 Chronicles 16:11). “Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God” (1 Chronicles 22:19).   “Into the same image.” It’s Your Image I seek; It’s You I seek. And You seek to make me more like You, to be conformed into the image of the Son of God (Romans 8:29). As You are, so am I to be in my world (1 John 4:17).   “From glory to glory.” Not in an instant, but in a process. Even though it’s done immediately in the heavenly dimension of my being from the moment I’m saved (Ephesians 2:5), here in this earthly dimension it’s a spiritual journey that unfolds “from glory to glory”, layer by layer, step by step, day by day, moment by moment all along the way. You will be faithful to bring to completion the good work You have begun in me (Philippians 1:6).   “By the Spirit of the Lord.” I can’t do this own my own, not in my power, my wisdom, my righteousness, my good works or good intents. Apart from You, I can do nothing (John 15:5). But You can and You are. You’re moving in me by Your Spirit, giving me right desires and Your power to do what pleases You (Philippians 2:13). And what pleases You is for me to focus on You, to behold You, to allow You to keep changing me into Your image from glory to glory, secure in my identity, fulfilling my destiny, as a child of God and disciple of Christ.   In seeking, there is finding. In finding, there is beholding. In beholding, there is embracing. In embracing, there is love. There is love because You first loved me (1 John 4:19). And in Your love for me, You are changing me from the inside out “into (Your) image from glory to glory.”   It’s not by my might nor my power, not by my goodness nor my worthiness, but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6) — “just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” I can’t earn it or deserve it. But it’s available to me every time I seek You, pursue You, behold You and allow You to make me more like You. Morning by morning, moment by moment, “from glory to glory.”   Just as Your Word promises, You’ll be faithful to take me to my spiritual destination on my spiritual journey of pursuing You:   “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure” (1 John 3:1-3).   Purify me. Change me. Make me more like You, more and more every day, Lord -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.   Be encouraged today. Morning by Morning, October 28, 2025 – “Eternity in (Our) Hearts” in the Eternal Dimension of God   Good morning, Lord Jesus. I welcome You here in my heart and every moment of my day. ...   “He has put eternity in their hearts.... That which has already been, and what is to be has already been” (Ecclesiastes 3:11, 15).   Eternity has no beginning and has no end. Eternity is. Just as You are “I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus 3:14). No beginning, no end. Just, You Are. You are “above all, and through all, and in all” (Ephesians 4:6). You’re not limited by anything at all. You are “Him who fills all in all” (Ephesians 1:23).   And somehow, in some way that we can only imagine, or try to imagine, You’ve “put eternity in (our) hearts.” In some way, the truth is that we also live in that eternal dimension, as we abide in You and You abide in us (John 15:4), as we are one with You and You are one within us (John 17:21), as our bodies are Your temple and Your Spirit lives in us (1 Corinthians 6:19), that the Spirit of God moves in our human spirit, crying out from our hearts Abba Father as children of God, for that is who we are (Romans 8:15), as the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead also lives in us (Romans 8:11), as we are joined with You and You are joined with us so that we are “one spirit” with You (1 Corinthians 6:17).   While we live here in this earthly dimension, we also, at the same time, live in Your heavenly dimension. “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:4-6).   Eternity’s hard to grasp. But eternity is true. Eternity is You. And You’ve put Your eternity in us.   Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God, help me understand more, help me embrace more — more of You, more of Your truth, more of knowing who You are in every dimension of Your Being and knowing who You’ve created me to be in every dimension of my being.   David said, “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it” (Psalm 139:6). Yet, at the same time, You put it in our hearts to seek the truth, to know the truth, to experience the truth of just how eternally glorious You are and even how, in the eternal dimension of our being, we are eternally one with You. As You expressed in the eternal, extraordinary truth of one dimension of how we are fearfully and wonderfully made, “You will know that I AM in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you” (John 14:20).   Thank You that You are fulfilling the Promise of Your Word, even if we don’t yet fully understand and grasp the depths of Your truth here in this earthly dimension of our finite minds, that “the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things” (John 14:26). “When He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). “He will glorify Me” (John 16:14).   Eternally glorious One, thank You for putting eternity in my heart. Thank You for making me one with You, one with my Father, one with the Holy Spirit — for all eternity. “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with (us) all” (2 Corinthians 13:14). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today. Morning by Morning, October 27, 2025 – Wisdom Cries Out   Good morning, Lord Jesus. Looking to You, listening for You, I watch and wait for the leading of Your Spirit (John 10:27). ...   “Does not wisdom cry out, And understanding lift up her voice? She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, Beside the way, where the paths meet. She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors: ‘To you, O men, I call, And my voice is to the sons of men’” (Proverbs 8:1-4).   Thank You for Your wisdom — a manifestation of the Spirit of God, an expression of the manifest Presence of God, along with understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the holy fear of the Lord:   “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord” (Isaiah 11:2).   You promise us if we ask for wisdom, You will give it, saying, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally without reproach, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5). And at the same time, we must “ask in faith, with no doubting” (v. 6).   In faith, I ask for Your wisdom. In every way I’m lacking wisdom, I’m asking for wisdom. In every way that I’m mistaken the wisdom of this world for the wisdom of heaven, I’m asking for Your wisdom.   Wisdom to know the truth. Wisdom to know how to respond for the challenges I face today and to prepare for those I’ll face tomorrow. Wisdom to release the mistakes and missteps of my past to You for You to forgive and redeem and even turn it all around for good, teaching me and training me through the wisdom that comes from both my successes and my failures, in the wisdom You’re developing in me.   Let all that I do, let the choices that I make, be grounded in Your Word as You fill me with Your Spirit, that all may be done by the power of Your grace “in the meekness of wisdom” (James 1:13). My “meekness” is admitting my need of Your wisdom. I do need it. And I do ask for it. And in faith, believing, I do receive it.   Not the wisdom from this world below. But the wisdom that comes from above, the wisdom that comes from You:   “The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy” (James 3:17).   That’s the kind of wisdom I need. That’s the kind of wisdom I receive. That’s the kind of wisdom that’s crying out to me, calling out to me and to “the sons of men,” to all who will listen, to hear Your voice, the voice of wisdom. This deeply needed, always available, manifestation of the Spirit and the Presence of God. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today. Morning by Morning, October 24, 2025 – “Every Word of God Proves True”

 

Morning by Morning, October 24, 2025 – “Every Word of God Proves True” Good morning, Lord Jesus. You are “The Word of God” (Revelation 19:13). So as I seek You first thing in my morning, I seek “The Word of God” that I may begin my day grounded in Your Word and filled with Your Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). ... “Every Word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him” (Proverbs 30:5). Your Word is true. You are true. You are “Faithful and True” (Revelation 19:11). In You, “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). When we look to You, we look to the Word of God. When we read the Word of God, we see You. When we embrace the Word of God, we embrace You. When we set our hearts to live our lives in submission and surrender to the Word and the will of God, Your Word becomes flesh in us. So grant me Your grace to trust You and Your Word, to know You and Your Word. For Your Words are true and they can be trusted (Revelation 22:6). In contrast, the words of this world so often falter and fail, filled with lies to get by or get ahead, to take advantage and manipulate, to express a narrative ungrounded in truth, unrestrained by reality, and unashamed to deceive. So I pray for discernment to know the difference. And I embrace the Promise of Your Word to grant me Your discernment if I will seek it: “Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path” (Proverbs 2:3-9). So I cry out for discernment. I lift up my heart for wisdom. I embrace the truth of “The Word of God” as I embrace the One who is forever “Faithful and True.” In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today.
