Morning by Morning, May 12, 2026 — “Faith Working Through Love” in Both Words and Action Good morning, Lord Jesus. Help me hear what You’re saying to follow where You’re leading, as I begin my day in the communion of prayer with You (John 10:27). ... As I wait for Your leading, this Word comes to mind: “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love” (Galatians 5:6 NRSV). “Faith working through love.” Not just faith, but also love. Not just love, but also faith. And not a dormant faith, a complacent faith, a passive faith, a faith we just keep to ourselves hidden away in our hearts. It’s an active faith. A “working” faith. Our “faith working through love” is by both the Word and the Spirit, by both our words and our actions. So that whether we speak or whether act, so that when we are speaking and when we are acting, we are representing You as Your words expressed through us and Your hands reaching out through us. In this way, “we ambassadors for Christ, since God is making His appeal through us” (2 Corinthians 5:20). In this way, “as He is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). So today—and every day—put Your thoughts in my mind, Your desires in my heart, Your words in my mouth, Your movement to my actions. Where You go, I will go. What You say, I will say. What You do, I will do. Whether in my words or my actions, let me be found faithful to be expressing and living out my “faith working through love.” As best as I can and all by the power of Your grace and Your faith at work within me. Morning by Morning, May 11, 2026 — Vessels of Honor Good morning, Lord Jesus. Help me begin this day, as every day, embraced by my Father, centered in Jesus Christ, and filled with the Holy Spirit of the Living God. ... As I wait for Your leading, You’re bringing to my heart again a calling to Your disciples in this hour You’ve been leading me to speak in a number of settings during my days of ministry here in Pakistan. Yes, You’re moving in a harvest of souls. Yes, You’re healing the brokenhearted and setting the captives free. But You’re also calling Your Body and Bride of Jesus Christ to a deeper level of holiness and purity. That You will have a people who move in the power of Your name but also express the purity of Your heart. In both power and purity, we are to be vessels of honor: “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work” (2 Timothy 2:20-21). Our hearts are to be Your great house. Our bodies are to be Your temple of Your Holy Spirit—the Spirit of holiness, the Spirit of purity, the Spirit of the One who alone can make us holy and pure in Your power (1 Corinthians 6:19). “For our God is consuming Fire” (Hebrews 12:29). And in this hour, You are burning with a passion to consume everything in us that is not yet like You. You are preparing Your “vessels of honor” who You can entrust with a measure of Your power moving through our lives in measures never seen before. All that we have seen or heard is merely a foretaste and first-fruits of what is yet to come. But before we can move in that kind of Fire of Your Power, we must first embrace the Fire of Your Purity. We must “cleanse” ourselves of every impurity. And at the same time, we ourselves cannot “cleanse” ourselves. Only You can. Your part is to do this. Our part is to say, “Yes, Lord. Do this in me.” By the power of Your grace at work within me, I say today, “Yes, Lord. Do this in me. Yes, Lord, purify me, cleanse me, so that You can trust me and empower me to take my part in this great move of Your Spirit in our times as never before. Make me one of Your vessels of honor. Master, sanctify me and make me useful for every good work You’ve intended for me since before the foundations of the world.” In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today! Morning by Morning, May 5, 2026 — “In All the World as a Witness to All the Nations” Good morning, Lord Jesus. Praying and writing from my room in Pakistan this morning, I seek to begin my day embraced by my Father, centered in Christ, and filled with Your Holy Spirit. ... “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). This gospel is good news. Good news of God’s love. Good news of God’s mercy. God’s news of God’s heart of a good, good Father who wants every soul to be saved, every heart to be changed, every life to be transformed from the inside out into all He created us to be as children of God. And this good news is to be preached in all the world. That every soul in every tribe and tongue and nation shall hear it and hear the heart of God behind it. It’s to be preached in all the world, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Here in this part of the world where You’ve sent me and in every part of the world where You’re sending Your messengers as witnesses to all the nations with the heart of Your message of mercy and love, may Your love break through with revival breakthrough in their hearts and in their lands in all the world. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today! Morning by Morning, May 1, 2026 — “Sent” to Preach the Love of God in the Power of God by the Spirit of God Good morning, Lord Jesus. Be high and lifted up, here in my heart and in all my life, this day and every day (John 12:32). ... “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10:14-15) Tomorrow morning, You’re sending me back to the people of Pakistan. By the power of Your grace, in the anointing of Your Spirit, may I express Your heart to “preach the gospel of peace” and “bring glad tidings of good things!” Prepare their hearts to hear and my heart to speak the Word of God by the Spirit of God. As I’ve seen You do on every journey, may You confirm Your Word with Your power and love with salvations, healing, deliverance, and awakening of hearts to the mercy and love of God (Mark 16:20; Acts 14:3). Thank You, Lord, that You are still proclaiming Your Good News, healing the brokenhearted, setting the captives free (Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18). Just as the Father sent You, so You send us in the authority of Your name and the power of Your Spirit (John 20:21). Here I am, Lord. Send me (Isaiah 6:8). May I be one of Your “ambassadors for Christ” going forth on behalf of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the King of the Kingdom of God, full of Your joy and full of Your love, for every life You will change (2 Corinthians 5:20). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today!
