Morning by Morning, September 30, 2026 — Good to Be Home

Morning by Morning, September 30, 2026 — Good to Be Home Good morning, Lord Jesus. Thank You for Your constant Presence, wherever I am, every moment of every day. You are with me “always” (Matthew 28:20). It’s good to be home and wake up in our own bed, in our own home this morning after two weeks of ministry abroad. I’m thinking of a verse from Your Word: “Then the disciples went away again to their own homes” (John 20:10). Your first disciples encountered You at the empty tomb. And before their next encounter with You at the upper room, they went “to their own homes.” Rocio and I have just returned from our time of ministry in Belgium and Slovenia. We were blessed to be able to encounter Your Presence among such hungry hearts, excited and expectant for a move of God in their lives. We shared the hope of Your resurrection power, as You expressed Your heart of Your love and peace and joy through Your Holy Spirit. And as soon as we made it home, it was time for our next encounter right here at home to teach my Tuesday Night class last night, getting to share some stories of what You had done in Europe, with expectant faith for what You want to do right here at home. Wherever You are, “the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). For You are the King of the kingdom of heaven. “King of kings and Lord of lords” (Revelation 19:16). And wherever we are—whether at home or abroad—You are right here in our hearts. “Christ in (us), the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). With “the Spirit of Christ” living in us, flowing through us, releasing the presence and the power of Your Spirit through us as Your disciples (Romans 8:9). It’s good to be home. But best of all, it’s good to know You are at home in me, abiding in me as I abide in You (John 15:4). As You said to Your first disciples, You still speak today to every disciple whose opened their hearts and surrendered their lives to You and Your ever-abiding Presence: “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him” (John 14:23). Heart to heart, Spirit to spirit, Deep to deep—one with You as You are one within me. “He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him” (1 Corinthians 6:17). Thank You that my heart is Your home. Thank You that You’ve come and made Your home in me—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God. Truly, it’s good to be home. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged this day. In the Love of Jesus, Tommy Hays My friend, may you be at home with the Lord as He makes His home in your heart, in Jesus' name. God bless you, my friend! And you have a great day! Morning by Morning, September 29, 2026 — Fanning into Flame the Spiritual Embers of Europe

Morning by Morning, September 29, 2026 — Fanning into Flame the Spiritual Embers of Europe Good morning, Lord Jesus. Arise and shine in my heart with Your life today. … As I wait for Your leading this morning, I hear in my heart: “I’m fanning the embers into flame.” And this Word: “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands” (2 Timothy 1:6). Rocio and I just returned late last night from our journey of nearly two weeks at the invitation of friends and ministry leaders among the European people of both Belgium and Slovenia. Though some see much of Europe as spiritually lifeless, we saw glowing embers, ready to be fanned into flame. Hearts are hungry for another move of Your Spirit. And we were blessed to be a part of this coming awakening. We saw many tears and much joy as You were healing the brokenhearted and setting the captives free, preparing the way of the Lord in their hearts and in their land. Yes, Lord. Stretch out Your hand! Pour out Your Spirit! Fan these embers into flame! Let the holy fire and power of Your Spirit both purify and empower, sanctify and set Your people ablaze with the light of Your glory. All across Europe and all across this world in this time of awakening for the great harvest at hand. May we all do our part. May we all be a part. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea!” — starting in me! (Habakkuk 2:14) In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged this day. In the Love of Jesus, Tommy Hays My friend, may you spirit be fanned into flame as you're a part of this awakening in the earth in everywhere the Lord sends you or positions you with the light of His glory shining through you, in Jesus' name. God bless you, my friend! And you have a great day! Morning by Morning, September 23, 2026 — “As You Go...”

Morning by Morning, September 23, 2026 — “As You Go...” Good morning, Lord Jesus. You are with me always (Matthew 28:20). And in these first moments of my morning, I’m moved to take time to intentionally acknowledge and embrace Your ever-abiding Presence (John 15:4). … As I wait for Your leading, these words rise up from my spirit and into my mind: “As you go...” And as I seek out these spoken words in Your written Word, I find this: “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand’” (Matthew 10:7). This morning, my wife Rocio and I will rise up and go on the next stage of our missionary journey for these two weeks in Europe, going from ministry in Belgium, through Italy, and now on to Slovenia. As we go, may we “preach” Your Word and help awaken an awareness of Your Presence. “The kingdom of heaven is at hand” because we carry You in our hearts, stretching Your hands through our hands, Your feet through our feet, Your words through our words. For we are an expression of Your “Body of Christ” everywhere You send us (1 Corinthians 12:27). And “as (we) go,” may You confirm Your Word with the moving of Your Spirit with encouragement and life, healing and freedom, in the power and authority of Your name (Matthew 10:8). May we freely receive all You have for us and freely give all You will release through us. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged this day. In the Love of Jesus, Tommy Hays My friend, may you carry the kingdom of heaven in your heart and bring awareness of the Presence of God everywhere the Lord sends you throughout the moments of your day, in Jesus' name.
