Morning by Morning, August 15, 2025 - “Go into All the World”
Good morning, Lord Jesus. I look to You and listen for Your leading (John 10:27). ...
“And then (Jesus) told them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone” (Mark 16:15 NLT).
Here in the same month of August, I’ve barely come home from Kenya and now we’re packing up to go to Colombia. That same stirring in my spirit that propelled me into ministry to the people of Kenya is the same stirring in my spirit now for the people of Colombia:
“Time is short. Doors are open. Go into all the world.”
Yes, Lord. Thank You for supernatural grace, energy and stamina, provision and relationships, and open doors for hungry hearts to hear the Good News of the love of God through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.
This ministry You’ve entrusted to me for nearly thirty years now is to those both at home and abroad. These last few years, it seems You’ve especially emphasized the “abroad” part, the “Go into all the world” part.
Thank You for everyone who prays for us, who provides for us, who encourages us to be a part and do our part of advancing the Kingdom of God in the hearts of people and in the earth. And whether at home or abroad, it does seem there is a deep sense of urgency to share the hope that is within us. Hope for salvation of souls for eternal life. And hope for today for the peace, love, and joy You have for all who would allow Your Holy Spirit to move and heal and free all who would receive to be set free from all that would hold them back from all You created them to be.
So may we carry this Good News of Yours, this hope of Yours, in our hearts and release it in the power of Your Spirit “to everyone” and every place You send us.
“Now may the God of hope fill (us) with all joy and peace in believing, that (we) may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
