Morning by Morning, November 13, 2025 — No Shutdown for the Government of the Kingdom of God Good morning, Lord Jesus. Good morning, my Heavenly Father. Good morning, Holy Spirit. ... You are One and You are holy and You are right here, right now with me, even right here within me, by the grace of God in the mystery of faith (Colossians 1:27). ... The news in my nation lately has been filled with the phrase “Government shutdown.” And as I begin my day looking to You, grounded in Your Word and filled with Your Spirit, I praise You for the Government that never shuts down.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:3-4). The Government of Your Kingdom stands forever: 44 And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever (Daniel 2:44) The Government of Your Kingdom shall not pass away: 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed (Daniel 7:14). You are the Immortal Leader of this eternal Government. You lead, You rule, You reign in this Government as “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” (Revelation 19:16). This Government is upon Your shoulder (Isaiah 9:6). And “Of the increase of (Your) government and peace there will be no end!” (Isaiah 9:7). Hallelujah! Amen! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
