Morning by Morning, August 3 - Returning with Joy from Kenya! Good morning, Lord Jesus. Fill my heart with Your love and peace and joy, as I entrust my heart and my day and my life to You. ... “After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, ‘The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.... And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’... Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, ‘Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name! ... In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, ‘I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.... Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, ‘Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it!” (Luke 10:1-24) We’ve now “returned with joy” from our ministry trip to Nyeri, Kenya to proclaim the coming of the kingdom of God, ministering the healing love and power of God in Jesus’ name through our international team of evangelists assembled out of our own individual ministries under the banner of Wesley Paul International Ministries. We came from around the world, that Your Holy Spirit might make a life-changing impact in this part of the world in hearts and homes, in the streets and churches, in the schools and government, and in every part of society -- as well as in each one of us. And we saw Your Holy Spirit move in mighty ways! We're praising You for all the souls saved, healed, delivered, and changed forever in the powerful name of Jesus during our two weeks of festival crusades and non-stop ministry outreaches -- from the Governor’s Office to the valley slums, in our main Festival the second week and in 10 satellite Festivals the first week, with Revival Meetings and a Pastors’ Conference in between. And we’re praising You for life-long friendships You knit together among our team for Your purposes from India, South Africa, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, Western Kenya, Masai Tribe, and America (Texas, Kentucky, Illinois, North Carolina). From 14 years old up to my age at 62, we came from all walks of life in our varied experiences of faith in You. And in Kenya, over 150 churches and leaders came together in the unity of prayer from across many denominations and streams of the Body of Christ for awakening and revival! May this Holy Fire You’ve ignited in their hearts and in ours never go out! (Matthew 3:11) Now may everything You poured into us be poured out through us in our homes and cities and churches now that we’ve returned in the joy of Your Spirit, rejoicing in the Spirit for all You have done and will continue to do! “As it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heart, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him!” (1 Corinthians 2:9). We love You, Lord! And You love every one of us, every soul in this world -- from Kenya to Kentucky, from Tanzania to Texas, from India to Indianapolis, and everywhere in between and every place else. So may You continue to send us out and bring us home, sharing the Good News of Your kingdom -- “not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that (our) faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God!” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5) In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
