My Granddaughter is On Her Way! - October 7, 2022

Morning by Morning, October 7 - My Granddaughter is On Her Way!   Good morning, Lord Jesus. Be at the center of my heart and every moment of my day. ...   This morning, I’m writing my morning prayer from the airport on the way to join my oldest daughter Elizabeth and her husband Sergey for the birth of their first child! --my first grandchild through one of my own children!   “I prayed for this child, and the Lord answered my prayer! He gave me this child. And now I give this child to the Lord!” (1 Samuel 1:27-28 ERV)   Elizabeth is in the midst of her labor of love right now. She’s doing all the laboring and we get to do all the loving! I wanted to be there to hold my new granddaughter in my hands and near to my heart to pray a Granddaddy’s Blessing:   “The Lord bless (her) and keep (her); The Lord make His face shine upon (her), And be gracious to (her); The Lord lift up His countenance upon (her), And give (her) peace!” (Numbers 6:24-26)   Thank You, my Father, for this day and for this blessing!   “(We) shall rejoice in every good thing which the Lord (our) God has given to (us) and (our) house” (Deuteronomy 26:11).   “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning” (James 1:17).   I’m excited! We all are! And I think You are too! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today!
