Morning by Morning, November 12, 2024 - “Surge of Hope” Good morning, Lord Jesus. Take me by the hand and lead me with Your Heart into all You have for me today (Isaiah 41:10). ... As I wait and listen for Your leading this morning, a surge of hope rises up in my heart. And this Word comes to mind: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13). Lord, let this surge of hope fill the hearts of Your people. Let us persevere in hope, overflow in hope, even “abound in hope” as we believe in You and all You are doing in our hearts and in our land and throughout the earth. Renew our expectation of good things to come, even great things to come, with our hearts turned to You and our hope filled with You, trusting and believing in You. Come, Holy Spirit. Come move in Your power in waves of hope, in a surge of hope, as we lift up our eyes and open up our hearts to “the God of hope.” May we experience the “joy and peace in believing” that flows from the heart of a people whose hope is in You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
