"Be Silent" 12-29-07

Good morning, Lord Jesus. Be the center of my thoughts and the foundation of my day. ... "Be silent, all people, before the Lord; for He has roused Himself from His holy dwelling" (Zechariah 2:13). As we come to the close of this past year and look forward to the next, there is great anticipation among many for the move of Your Spirit to come. Before You move, let us be still. Before You speak, let us be silent. As we humble ourselves in Your sight, then You lift us up (James 4:10). You intend to lift us to new levels of knowing You and experiencing Your Presence and power in these days. So help us humble ourselves in the silence of surrender so we can hear and respond to Your move. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen. Be encouraged today!
