Let Every Day be Christmas 12-26-08

Good morning, Lord Jesus. You are my Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. … "Precious treasure remains in the house of the wise, but the fool devours it" (Proverbs 21:20). All the bows are untied and all the boxes are opened. All the carols are sung and all the candles are snuffed. Christmas Day has come and gone, but the "Spirit of Christ" remains (Romans 8:9). You are the Precious Treasure. You are the Gift of God. You are Immanuel, God with us -- not for a day, but for forever. So let us live each day, celebrating the Gift of God within us, the Treasure entrusted forever to us. Let everyday be Christmas -- "Christ in (us), the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27).
