Born This Day 12-25-08

Good morning, Lord Jesus. Your birth in my world is my hope and peace and joy of my second birth in Yours. … "To you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord" (Luke 2:11). This day my life is changed This day all things are rearranged This day I'll never be the same For this day is the day You were born for me This day all my sins are gone This day all souls can come home This day we'll never be alone For this day is the day You were born for me This day all heaven and earth proclaim This day we adore Your holy name This day in our hearts You rule and reign For this day is the day You were born for me On this day of giving we remember and rejoice in the One who has given so much to us. "God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting (our) trespasses against (us), and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us" (2 Corinthians 5:19). You are the Christ, our Messiah, the Anointed One of God, born in a manger to die on a cross so You could live forever in our hearts. Through Your birth we may all have our second birth -- birth into Christ and Christ birthed into us. "Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above" (John 3:3). On this day of worldwide celebration of Your birth, I thank You, Lord Jesus for being born from above in my world and in my heart. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen. Be encouraged today!
