Morning by Morning, November 8 - Sent Out Two by Two to Help Facilitate Encounters with Jesus Good morning, Lord Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit and lead me in Your way, now and throughout the moments of my day. ... “After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go” (Luke 10:1). My wife, Rocio, and I are two You’ve sent out before Your face into this beautiful city of Algeciras, Spain. You’ve sent us to prepare the way of the Lord in the hearts of those who are opening their hearts to You for inner healing and spiritual freedom of all that would hold them back from all You created them to be. You’ve sent us out to help facilitate encounters with You. May we be found faithful of their trust in You and their trust that You would use us to minister the power of Your love, mercy, healing, and freedom into their lives. We love to see the tears of cleansing and release, followed by the smiles of joy and freedom! Then many receive a passion to minister Your healing and freedom to others--whether at home, at work, at school, at church, or wherever You send them out two by two or even one on one, but always heart to heart, to prepare the way of the Lord in the hearts of those who are ready for an encounter with You. Freely they receive, then freely they give. As You said to Your first disciples as You sent them forth, You continue to say to Your disciples today as You send us forth: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8). As Your Word says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). We’re thankful for where You sent us yesterday. And we’re excited to see where You send us today--in every place where You Yourself are about to go--into the depths of hearts hungry for an encounter with You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
