Morning by Morning, February 28 - My Heart is Full! Good morning, Lord Jesus. Put Your thoughts in my mind and Your desires in my heart, as You make me more like You today (Romans 8:29). ... I made it back home from India late last night. The middle leg of my journey from Doha to Dallas was fifteen hours! But it was worth every minute and mile, going and coming, for all I saw You do as You were saving souls, healing hearts, breaking chains, and moving in the power of Your love for so many who were desperately hungry for an encounter with You. You’ve set my heart on fire with revival again! And I pray every spark You’ve set everywhere You sent me will be fanned into flame! (2 Timothy 1:6) I’ve hardly had time to reflect on what all You’ve done, as my mind tries to wake up from the fog of the travel home, after ministering in three different areas of India in three weeks, but as I wake up this morning, what first comes to my heart is that “My heart is full.” As David expressed in Psalm 28: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him!” (Psalm 28:7) And in the 23rd Psalm: “My cup runs over!” (Psalm 23:5). And as Paul exuded in Romans 5: “The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us” (Romans 5:5). Thank You, Lord! Thank You for all who prayed for me, provided for me, imparted into me, and were part of all You did in me and through me as You sent me to India for these three magnificent weeks of ministry! Thank You for letting me and all who are a part of our ministry in so many ways be a part of the fulfillment of Your Word: “And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come!” (Matthew 24:14). My heart is full! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
