Morning by Morning, August 27, 2025 – “With all Boldness and Without Hindrance!” Good morning, Lord Jesus. Be first in my heart in these first moments of my morning, here in the communion of prayer with You—Father, Son and Holy Spirit of God. ... “He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!” (Acts 28:31) These are the last Words written of the Apostle Paul in the final mention of him and his life in the Bible. From the day Saul became Paul, from the day the scales were removed from his eyes and his heart, Paul never quit proclaiming the Kingdom of God, never quit talking about Jesus. Through all he said and did, through all he experienced and suffered and overcame, he was faithful every day and faithful to the end. What seeds of life he sowed everywhere You sent him. What legacy of life he left behind. All empowered by Your grace. All led by Your Spirit. All for the glory of God in the name of Jesus. Lord, I’m expecting a long life, full of many opportunities to be Your “ambassador” (2 Corinthians 5:20) and “witness” (Acts 1:8), to be Your “servant” (Mark 9:35) and “follower” (Matthew 16:24), to be Your carrier of Your “Spirit” (Romans 8:9) and “friend” (John 15:15). Like Paul’s example and inspiration, may I be empowered to never stop proclaiming the Kingdom of God and talking about Jesus “with all boldness and without hinderance!” (Acts 28:31). Like Paul’s spirit, may I be given the grace to be able to proclaim in truth, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me! (Galatians 2:20) In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen Be encouraged today. Morning by Morning, August 26, 2025 – Ever-Available to “Fearlessly” Share the Hope of Jesus Good morning, Lord Jesus. Be at the center of my heart and in the middle of every moment of my day. ... “Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel” (Ephesians 6:19). If the Apostle Paul needed prayer and asked for prayer so he could fearlessly proclaim the Gospel to everyone and in every place You sent him, so should we. And I thank You, Lord, for everyone who prays for us in our ministry of proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom of God, ministering in the authority of Your name and the power of the Holy Spirit and the love of our Father. What strikes me this morning, as I read these Words of Your Scripture is the word “fearlessly.” ... Set me free from any measure of intimidation or hesitation. Increase an anointing of boldness from Your Holy Spirit into my human spirit. Whether I’m in another nation or at my grocery store, whether I’m speaking to hundreds or speaking to one, let me let You speak Your words of spirit and life through me. May I be ever-available to You. May I be ever-available to fearlessly share the hope of Jesus. In this single month of August, You’ve sent me to proclaim Your Gospel and minister the healing love of God on two different continents of Africa and South America. And this morning I’m waking up back in my own continent of North America. But let the passion to share Your heart with the hearts of people continue to burn in me, whether at home or abroad, wherever I am. Let sharing Your hope, Your love be more than an event or a trip, but be my everyday lifestyle. And I pray You would increase this anointing from Your Spirit in the Body of Christ in the earth. To fearlessly, boldly share the hope that is within us (1 Peter 3:15). You are our Hope. You are the Hope of the world. Let us not keep it to ourselves, but be ready to be Your “ambassadors” to everyone and in every place You position us with the Good News of Your Gospel (2 Corinthians 5:20). In Jesus’ name I pray. Morning by Morning, August 15, 2025 - “Go into All the World”

 

Morning by Morning, August 15, 2025 - “Go into All the World” Good morning, Lord Jesus. I look to You and listen for Your leading (John 10:27). ... “And then (Jesus) told them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone” (Mark 16:15 NLT). Here in the same month of August, I’ve barely come home from Kenya and now we’re packing up to go to Colombia. That same stirring in my spirit that propelled me into ministry to the people of Kenya is the same stirring in my spirit now for the people of Colombia: “Time is short. Doors are open. Go into all the world.” Yes, Lord. Thank You for supernatural grace, energy and stamina, provision and relationships, and open doors for hungry hearts to hear the Good News of the love of God through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. This ministry You’ve entrusted to me for nearly thirty years now is to those both at home and abroad. These last few years, it seems You’ve especially emphasized the “abroad” part, the “Go into all the world” part. Thank You for everyone who prays for us, who provides for us, who encourages us to be a part and do our part of advancing the Kingdom of God in the hearts of people and in the earth. And whether at home or abroad, it does seem there is a deep sense of urgency to share the hope that is within us. Hope for salvation of souls for eternal life. And hope for today for the peace, love, and joy You have for all who would allow Your Holy Spirit to move and heal and free all who would receive to be set free from all that would hold them back from all You created them to be. So may we carry this Good News of Yours, this hope of Yours, in our hearts and release it in the power of Your Spirit “to everyone” and every place You send us. “Now may the God of hope fill (us) with all joy and peace in believing, that (we) may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today. Morning by Morning, August 14, 2025 - “Power Perspective” Good morning, Lord Jesus. Lord of my life, Savior of my soul, be at the heart of all I am and all I’ll do today. ... As I wait on Your leading this morning, what comes to my heart is this: “Power Perspective.” ... And this: “I empower you with My perspective. I give you a perspective that empowers you to overcome and succeed in My victory over every battle you engage and every challenge you encounter.” ... Yes, Lord. What is this perspective?” ... “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Yes, Lord. Let this be my perspective. No matter what battle I engage, no matter what challenge I encounter, may Your Spirit remind me and empower me with this perspective, this attitude, this fortitude of determination to look up to You and rejoice, to persist with You in prayer, to thank You in everything because You’re with me through everything—as best as I can and all by Your grace. “Thanks be to God, who gives (me) the victory through (my) Lord Jesus Christ!” (1 Corinthians 15:57) “Thanks be to God who always leads (me) in triumph in Christ!” (2 Corinthians 2:14) In Jesus’ name I pray.
