The Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory 4-8-05

Good morning, Lord Jesus. One-on-one, my hand in Yours, Your heart in mine, make us one, in the communion of prayer. ... "For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever" (Matthew 6.13). Our Father, we are Your sons and daughters; we are children of God. You have honored us by giving us Your name. You have called us to give us Your nature. Let Your kingdom come here in our hearts, here in our thoughts, here in the encounters of our lives. Your kingdom comes wherever and whenever we bow to Your authority and submit to Your will and Your ways in trusting surrender. When we put our hand in Yours, the kingdom of God is at hand. Then Your power is released in us and in every circumstance we face. The glory of Your manifest presence fills our hearts and covers our lives, as Your light shines through Your people (Isaiah 60.1-3). Your kingdom comes as Your will is done. "Yours, O Lord, are the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and on the earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head above all. Riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand are power and might; and it is in Your hand to make great and to give strength to all. And now, our God, we give thanks to You and praise Your glorious name!" (1 Chronicles 29.11-13). In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. Be encouraged this day!
