Resurrection and Life 4-17-05

Good morning, Lord Jesus. Let Your words bring wisdom; let Your presence bring peace. You see what we don't see and You know what we don't know. If we trust in You and in Your love for us, that brings us comfort and security no matter what we face. You are our Peace and Your Spirit is our Comforter. ... Thank You for the power of Your words: "I am the Resurrection and the Life. Those who believe in Me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die" (John 11.25-26). Let the fullness of the power of this kind of life arise within our hearts. Let it lead us to live our lives fearlessly -- unhindered by the fear of death and the fear of man, undaunted by restrictions and hesitations. You call us to believe and obey, to live our lives in this truth: "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last, and the Living One. I was dead, and see, I am alive forever and ever; and I have the keys of Death and Hades" (Revelation 1.17-18). Though we fall, yet will we rise; though darkness surrounds us for a night, Your light bursts through every morning. Every day is a new day of life in You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
