Morning by Morning, June 3 - Healing Hearts to Be Set Free! Good morning, Lord Jesus. I welcome You into every moment of my day and moment of my life--past, present, and future. ... “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all” (Psalm 34:18-19). You come into the places of brokenness in our hearts, into the woundedness of our souls, into the weariness of our spirits, into the troubles and afflictions of our lives to heal us and free us as You draw near and embrace us. You’re with us always (Matthew 28:20). And You’re the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). You are still healing the brokenhearted and setting the captives free! (Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18) We’ve been in Cali, Columbia this past week ministering the healing love of God in different churches during the evenings and pastors and leaders’ gatherings during the mornings. We praise You for salvation of souls we’ve seen, but the heart of our message You’ve sent us to share is the healing of hearts and the freedom from the bondage of the past. We’ve seen such breakthroughs and new beginnings, as Your people are embracing Your Word and Your Spirit in the power of Your love here! Father God, You’ve sent Your Holy Spirit to prepare the bride for the coming of Jesus, which has to begin in our hearts! Prepare the way of the Lord in our hearts! Heal us! Free us! Awaken us! Let us rejoice and be glad for the bride has made herself ready! (Revelation 19:7) In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
