Good morning, Lord Jesus. My Lord and Savior, abide in me as I abide in You, here in the communion of prayer. …
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).
Thank You for Your Spirit who guides me and protects me and empowers me. Thank You for Your Spirit who draws me near to You and reminds me that You’re always near to me. Right here with me. Even right here within me.
As You expressed to us through Your Apostle Paul, “Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
I am Yours. And You are mine. Remind me throughout the moments of my day that I belong to You, that I’m following You as You lead me Spirit to spirit, Heart to heart, Deep calling unto deep. Whatever good I’m able to do in my world today, I know it will be by You abiding in me—not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirit, my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
