Morning by Morning, February 16 - Worthy of the Surrender of All My Heart

Good morning, Lord Jesus. King of Kings and Lord of Lords, be exalted on high, here in my heart and every moment of my day (Revelation 19:16). ...

As I wait for the leading of Your Spirit this morning, You’re writing a new song of trust and praise in my spirit, that I’m singing to You now in spirit and truth:

I seek to live for You
I long to adore You
You are my heart and soul

I need to be with You
I sing to exalt You
You set me free and make me whole

I know You are for me
I know that You love me
You are my all in all

The One who gave it all
The One on whom I call
So worthy of it all

So I surrender all to You
Yes, Lord. I surrender all to You. 

“(I) seek (You) with all (my) heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). I “trust in (You) with all (my) heart” (Proverbs 3:5). I “rejoice and exult (in You) with all (my) heart” (Zephaniah 3:14). I “sanctify (You) as Lord” in all my heart (1 Peter 3:15). And I love You, Lord -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God -- “with all (my) heart, and with all (my) soul, and with all (my) mind, and with all (my) strength” (Mark 12:30).

I “let the word of Christ dwell in (me) richly ... and with gratitude in (my) heart (I) sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to God (Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19).

I’m holding nothing back from You, because You have held nothing back from me. I surrender all to You, because You have sacrificed all for me. “In this is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins” (1 John 4:10) -- “not for ours only but for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:2).

You are worthy of all my heart and all my trust, for You are worthy of it all-- all glory and honor and power and blessing, forever and ever (Revelation 5:13). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
