Morning by Morning, January 10 - Personal Revival Today by the Presence and Power of God in Us Good morning, Lord Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit and lead me into all You have for me today (Ephesians 5:18). ... You’re not only my Savior, You’re also my Model. As You walked this earth for those thirty-three years as the Son of Man, in the likeness of human flesh and blood, You showed us how to live life grounded in the Word of God, filled with the Spirit of God, completely trusting our Father God (Philippians 2:5-8; Luke 22:42). As You are, so are we to be in our world (1 John 4:17), being conformed into Your image (Romans 8:29), looking to You as You keep changing us into Your nature, growing into Your character, “from glory to glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18). What You did, we will do by Your Spirit moving through us (John 14:12). Who You are, we will become like You by Your Spirit working in us (1 John 3:2). That’s revival! That’s a deeply personal revival that sets us ablaze with the Fire and Power of God! (Acts 1:8) That’s what changes us and changes the world around us! “Christ in (us), the hope of glory” -- the glory of the manifest Presence of God abiding in us, thriving through us, abounding in a hope that can’t be contained within us! (Colossians 1:27) “Now may the God of hope fill (us) with all joy and peace in believing, that (we) may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13). Set us ablaze with a fresh baptism of the Holy Fire of Your Holy Spirit, for glory of our Heavenly Father, as You send us forth in Your will today! (Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:5). Let today’s revival begin in me and every one of Your disciples who are passionately pursuing Your Presence! Through us, may “the earth be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea!” (Habakkuk 2:14) It can’t be contained and can’t be controlled because You and Your Spirit in us can’t be contained and can’t be controlled -- only rising up and overflowing through us as we’re abiding in You! (John 15:4) In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
