Good morning, Lord
Jesus. King of kings and Lord of lords, be King and Lord of every moment of my
day. ...
"Yet more than ever
believers were added to the Lord, great numbers of both men and women, so that
they even carried out the sick into the streets, and laid them on cots and mats,
in order that Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he came by. A great
number of people would also gather from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the
sick and those tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all cured" (Acts
5:14-16).
More than ever,
believers were added to the Body of Christ. More than ever, the presence and
power of God rested upon the disciples. More than ever, diseases and demons were
overcome and destroyed by the blood of the Lamb and the name of Jesus. The
experience and expression of Your Kingdom coming and Your will being done, on
earth as it is in heaven, increased and abounded more and more every day. And
You are "the same yesterday, and today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8).
Your mission has not
changed: "The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, to destroy the works of
the devil" (1 John 3:8). And Your commission has not changed: "As the Father
sent Me, so I send you" (John 20:21). So Lord let us experience and express You
and Your Kingdom more and more every day. Overshadow us with Your presence and
power, so that even our shadows are an extension of Your Kingdom through our
lives, more than ever. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
