Good morning, Lord Jesus. Open the eyes of my heart to see You as I lift it up and open it up to You -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God. ...
“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18).
From glory to glory, from faith to faith and grace to grace, as I look to You and behold You and contemplate You. That’s one of the most powerful ways You are transforming me, renewing me, changing me in Your image.
It’s been said, “You become like what you worship” and “What get’s your attention is what gets you” and “You’re most likely to arrive in the direction you’re headed.” There’s truth in all that. Intentional focus is a powerful force.
And it’s the powerful Force of Your Holy Spirit who is always moving in my heart to lift my eyes to You. It’s the powerful Force of Your Holy Spirit who stirs in my spirit to look to You, to worship You, to contemplate You, so that I become more like You “with ever-increasing” glory -- from glory to glory, faith to faith, grace to grace. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
