Morning by Morning, April 5 - All for Jesus -- The One Who Died and Was Raised for Me   Good morning, Lord Jesus. Fill my spirit with Your Spirit (Romans 8:9). Fill my mind with Your Mind (1 Corinthians 2:16). Fill my heart with Your Heart (Matthew 9:36). Fill my nature with Your Nature (2 Peter 1:4). Fill my character with Your Character (Romans 8:29). For as You are, so am I to be in my world (1 John 4:17). I’m to walk in Your steps and live in Your ways -- as best as I can and all by Your grace (1 Peter 2:12). ...   Lord, let it be so in me today. I can’t do it, but You can. Apart from You, I can do nothing (John 15:5). And I praise God that I’m never apart from You (Matthew 28:20).   So fill me up and pour me out. From the inside out, make me more like You today. By the power of Your grace at work within me and my heart and my mind and all of my life, give me both the desire and power to live this day for You (Philippians 2:13).   “For the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that One has died for all; therefore all have died. And He died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died and was raised for them” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).   The words of an Irish praise song are stirring in my heart, as Your Word settles in to my spirit:   Jesus, all for Jesus, All I am and have and ever hope to be. Jesus, all for Jesus, All I am and have and ever hope to be.   All of my ambitions, hopes and plans I surrender these into Your hands.
