Morning by Morning, July 2 - “Let Hope Arise! Dare to Hope Again.” Good morning, Lord Jesus. I set my eyes on You, open up my heart to You, as You lead me by Your Spirit today--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God. ... As I wait for Your leading, I hear this in my heart: “Let hope arise! Dare to hope again.” ... Many things come to mind that give cause for hope in the happenings of our world. As dark and desperate as many things have been, there is always hope for those who have faith. And like a fresh breeze on a dying ember, even a dying ember can be quickly fanned into flame again. So let hope arise! Give us grace to dare to hope again! To believe for good things, turn around things, overcoming things, even “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask and think” things! (Ephesians 3:20) “We have access by faith into this grace in which we stand; and rejoice in hope of the glory of God! And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:2-5). By the power of Your grace, hope is rising, hearts are beating, an army of righteousness that’s been humbled and prepared in perseverance through the fires of affliction and testing of faith is now being filled afresh with the Spirit of God to arise and dare to hope again! “Now may the God of hope fill (us) with all joy and peace in believing, that (we) may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit!” (Romans 15:13) In Jesus’ name I pray.
