Morning by Morning, February 12, 2025 - “Let the Little Children Come to Me”   Good morning, Lord Jesus. King of Kings, Lord of Lords, rule and reign in my heart and my life today (Revelation 19:16). ...   “Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.’ And He laid His hands on them ...” (Matthew 19:14-15).   This morning a group from our local church in Fredericksburg, the Bridge, went to our Middle School before classes started with worship and the Word of God, with prayers and smiles. And with donuts! “Devos and Donuts” our Youth Pastors call it, for devotionals and donuts, for kids to come and hear about Jesus and the love of God before they start their day at school. We praise God for our freedom of religion and freedom of speech in a nation where we can still speak the name of Jesus for all who would come and hear without any fear.   You’re still calling for the little children to come to You. You’re still calling for all who would become children of God to come to You. “As many as received Him, them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).   You’re still stretching out Your hands to them, stretching out Your heart to them. And thank You for using us to be extensions of Your hands and Your heart wherever You send us by Your Spirit with the love of our Father in the name of Jesus. And in the name of Jesus, we forbid every force of darkness from hindering these hearts from hearing Your Word and receiving Your love, that they might become children of God.   In the name of Jesus, we decree and declare, in accordance with the Command of Your Word, “Do not forbid them! For of such is the kingdom of heaven!” Thank You for letting Your kingdom come into the hearts of these children today, for coming into this school today. My Your kingdom keep coming in the hearts of all who would hear and receive! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today.
