Good morning, Lord Jesus. Lead me into all You have for me today -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. ...
“O that You would tear open the heavens and come down,
so that the mountains would quake at Your Presence--
as when fire kindles brushwood
and the fire causes water to boil--
to make Your name known to Your adversaries,
so that the nations might tremble at Your Presence!
When You did awesome deeds that we did not expect,
You came down; the mountains quaked at Your Presence.
From ages past no one has heard,
no ear has perceived,
no eye has seen any God besides You,
who works for those who wait for Him” (Isaiah 64:1-4).
Yes, Lord! Tear open the heavens and come down! Open up my heart and come in!
I pray for a great move of Your Holy Spirit in my heart, my community, my nation, and in the nations of the earth -- that we would “quake at Your Presence,” that we would “tremble at Your Presence,” that all would know that our great and awesome God is among us!
Let the angel of the fear of the Lord visit us. Let the Spirit of “the Fear of the Lord” invade us! (Isaiah 11:2)
Let Your Fire fall! Let Your Spirit come! “Make Your name known” and Your Presence undenied!
O the glory of the things we will see!
Things “we did not expect” and couldn’t even imagine -- even “abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20).
Things “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV).
Things that only You can do and are so ready to do--here in our hearts and here in our lands, as we turn to You and call on Your name and pray for this Revival of Fire! “For indeed our God is a Consuming Fire!” (Hebrews 12:29)
Consume us! Revive us! Awaken us! -- as we tremble in Your Presence and glorify Your name. “Revive us again, so that Your people may rejoice in You!” (Psalm 85:6) In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
