Morning by Morning, March 23 - “Gloriously Enthroned” Good morning, Lord Jesus. Help me begin my day grounded in Your Word and filled with Your Spirit -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God. ... “And now (Jesus) is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is coming! And He alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church” (Ephesians 1:21-23 The Passion Translation). Just as You are “gloriously enthroned” over every name that is ever praised, be “gloriously enthroned” over every moment of my day, over every challenge I’ll face, over every battle I’ll overcome, over every suffering I’ll endure, over every victory I’ll see. Be “gloriously enthroned” in my heart and over all I am and all I’ll do. Be “gloriously enthroned” over all. For nothing is not under Your dominion. Nothing is exalted above You. “God (the Father) also has highly exalted (You, God the Son) and has given (You) the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV). You are enthroned far above everything in this world and even the world to come. “(God the Father) raised (You, God the Son) from the dead and seated (You) at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under (Your) feet, and gave (You) to be head over all things to the church, which is (Your) body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all” (Ephesians 1:20-22). And as I begin this day, I declare the truth in love and lift up my heart in praise to proclaim You are “gloriously enthroned” over me. And by the mystery of faith and the mercies of God, You are even “gloriously enthroned” in me -- “Christ in (me), the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27), “the Spirit of Christ” ever-abiding, ever-living, ever-enthroned in me and every disciple of Yours (Romans 8:9). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
