Morning by Morning, March 17 - “Beside the Still Waters” in My Morning Prayer   Good morning, Lord Jesus. Fill my heart with Your Spirit and lead me in Your ways today. ...   “The Lord my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake” (Psalm 23:1-3).   Every morning, You waken me and draw me near to Your still waters in these moments of communion in prayer. You help me get my day started right and then You seek to lead me in the right path of Your righteousness throughout the moments of my day.   Before I go out and about my day into the world set before me, You first bring me close and make to lie down in the green pastures of Your Presence with just the two of us -- Heart to heart, Spirit to spirit, Face to face, morning by morning.   You restore my soul. You fill me afresh with Your Spirit. And You remind me that You’re really all I want, Good Shepherd of my soul. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today!
