Covering of Glory 3-8-08

Good morning, Lord Jesus. Your name is my first word this new day. ... "But the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea" (Habakkuk 2:14). Most of the eastern half of our nation is covered in a thick blanket of snow. Schools, businesses, churches, and about everything else are being closed and canceled, or at least delayed and disrupted. But at the same time, there's kind of a stillness and silence that settles in with the snow. It's almost like a Sabbath rest on the land and reminder of Your desire to cover our hearts and our land with a blanket of Your glory. "But the Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him" (v. 2:20). In Jesus' name I pray, Amen. Be encouraged today!
