Relentless Love of God - January 14, 2022

 

Morning by Morning, January 14 - Relentless Love of God Good morning, Lord Jesus. Lord of my life and Lover of my soul, come lead me and love me as You will today -- O God my Father, Lord Jesus Christ, Spirit of the Living God. ... “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38). Your love is relentless. Nothing can separate us from it. Nothing can take us from it. “The steadfast love the Lord never ceases” (Lamentations 3:22). “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life” (Psalm 23:6). Surely, “I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever” (Psalm 23:6). Even when we want to run away, even when turn aside, You pursue us. “Therefore, I will now allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her” (Hosea 2:14). “If we are faithless, (You) remain faithful -- for (You) cannot deny (Yourself)” (2 Timothy 2:13). You love us enough to convict us of our sins, to correct us in our hearts, just as a loving father or mother convicts and corrects their children (Hebrews 12:7). But it’s always “for our good” and always out of Your love (Hebrews 12:10). “For (You are) good; for (Your) steadfast love endures forever” (Psalm 100:5). Yes, Lord. You are a relentless God. And Your relentless love for us, Your relentless love for me, endures forever. I thank You and praise You for Your relentless love. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.  Be encouraged today!
