Jesus is “Lord of All” - August 6, 2021

 

Morning by Morning, August 6 - Jesus is “Lord of All” Good morning, Lord Jesus. Your name is “above every name.” And as I begin my day intentionally, deliberately, intimately embracing Your Presence -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of God -- I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth “that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). ... So I bow my knees. I lift my hands. I open my heart. I entrust my life. I surrender to You as Lord in every area of my life, as best as I can and all by Your grace moving in me. “Christ in (me)” (Colossians 1:27).  Some say, “God helps them that help themselves.” But Your Word says, “(My) help is in the name of the Lord” (Psalm 124:8). So the truth is I can’t help myself. You said, “Apart from Me, you can do nothing” (John 15:4). So I desperately need You to arise in my heart, to put Your thoughts in my mind and Your desires in my heart, to make me more like You today (1 John 4:17), to empower me by Your Spirit to live out my life this day in You (Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 5:18). Lord Jesus, I bow my knees and open my heart to speak Your name and confess You as Lord. Be Lord of my thoughts and desires. Be Lord of my words and actions. Be Lord of my hopes and dreams. Be Lord of my relationships and leadership. Be Lord of my provision and protection. Be Lord of my gifting and calling. Be Lord of my identity and destiny. Be Lord of every dimension of my being and every aspect of my life.  All that I am and all that I have, I entrust to You as Lord and into the authority of Your Lordship in my life. For You are “Lord of all” --Lord of all of me and Lord of all there is (Acts 10:36). In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Be encouraged today! August 5 -- Thank you so much for your prayers! All went well with our meeting last night in Pakistan! We're excited to hear the report of all the Lord has done from our ministry partners there! I'm including a couple of photos we just received from Pastor Fazal. Preaching in Pakistan through our Internet Ministry (Thursday morning about 10am Texas Time, Thursday Night in Pakistan).  Each month we set up a projector screen in a different unreached village for our outdoor evangelistic outreach. I preach and minister, while Pastor Rizwan and Mehwish Fazal interpret the message live, join in prayer ministry, and follow up with discipleship. We welcome your prayers and support that make this monthly ministry possible and so fruitful!
