Morning by Morning, October 24, 2024 - Living Water Washing Over Our Souls Good morning, Lord Jesus. Let the Living Water of Your Spirit flow through me today (John 7:37-38). ... As we prayed for someone yesterday in a time of inner healing prayer ministry, we saw a prophetic picture of a pitcher of water being poured out over their head, with the water running down through their mind and heart and all their body, cleansing them and renewing them. Praise God! Lord, do that in me! Lord, do that in us, as the Body and Bride of Christ in the earth! Let Your Living Water wash over our souls and cleanse us from everything less than Your heart for every one of us. As David prayed, in different ways: “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10). “He restores my soul” (Psalm 23:3). As Your Word invites us all to receive: “That (You) might sanctify and cleanse (us) with the washing of water by the word” (Ephesians 5:26). “Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1). “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5). “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart...” (Psalm 24:3-4). Cleanse me and purify me in Your Living Water today. Let Your Living Water run through my mind and my heart and every part of my being, as You “cleanse (me) from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Set thing right in the restoration and renewal of my soul--right with God, right with one another, right within myself--washed and cleansed by the Water of Your Word and the Cleansing Flow of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
