Morning by Morning, June 22 - Declaration of Faithfulness and Hope Good morning, Lord Jesus. I lift my eyes up to the hills, to the holy place of Your heavenly Presence, for that’s where my help comes from, that’s where my hope come from, that’s where everything that’s good and holy, right and true in my life comes from (Psalm 121:1-2). ... As I personalize Your Word for my life this day, it becomes a declaration of Your faithfulness and fills my heart with thanksgiving and hopefulness: “I will lift up my eyes to the hills-- From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow (my) foot to be moved; He who keeps (me) will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps (me) Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is (my) keeper; The Lord is (my) shade at (my) right hand. The sun shall not strike (me) by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve (me) from all evil; He shall preserve (my) soul. The Lord shall preserve (my) going out and (my) coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore!” (Psalm 121:1-8).
